Nicole Johanson serves as our Kids’ Ministry Director and also contributes to the worship and youth ministries at Malone Assembly. The daughter of Jamie and Chris Johanson, Nicole is part of a family that faithfully serves the church together.
Nicole has a wonderful gift for making biblical truth clear, memorable, and engaging for children and families. Whether ministering alongside her mother or leading a room full of energetic children, she brings creativity, warmth, composure, and an easy sense of humor. Her Christmas presentation demonstrated her ability to combine Scripture, storytelling, music, movement, and audience participation while keeping Jesus at the center—even when the joyful unpredictability of children takes over.
Nicole wants children to do more than simply attend church or be entertained. She invites them to open God’s Word, ask questions, participate, trust Jesus through every season, and share His love with others. Her playful spirit and genuine care help children feel welcomed, valued, and excited to grow in their faith.
