Our Values

What we believe shapes how we live.

At Ignite Church AG—formerly Malone Assembly of God—Jesus is our hope, faith becomes action, church becomes family, and every person is invited to live for His mission.

1

Jesus Is Our Hope

Everything begins and ends with Jesus. He is more than part of our lives—He is the center of them. We trust Him, follow Him, and believe no story is beyond His power to redeem.

Colossians 1:15–20 · John 14:6 · 1 Peter 1:3
2

The Word and Prayer Shape Us

We are formed by God’s Word and sustained through prayer. Scripture gives us truth, direction, and wisdom; prayer keeps us dependent upon God and attentive to His Spirit.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 · Acts 2:42 · Philippians 4:6–7
3

People Matter to God—and to Us

We love people because God loves people. We care about both physical and spiritual needs. In the room or online, we want people to experience genuine welcome, dignity, compassion, and hope.

Matthew 22:37–39 · James 2:15–17 · Romans 15:7
4

We Grow as Family

Church is not simply a service we attend; it is a family in which we belong and grow. We walk through life together, encourage one another, disciple our children, and carry our relationships beyond Sunday.

Acts 2:42–47 · Deuteronomy 6:6–7 · Hebrews 10:24–25
5

Grace Gives Us Room to Grow

We pursue maturity, not the appearance of perfection. We can be honest about our struggles because Jesus meets us with grace and truth. We celebrate progress and trust God to keep transforming us.

Ephesians 2:8–10 · Philippians 1:6 · Galatians 6:1–2
6

Everyone Has a Place and a Part

Everyone deserves a place to belong, and everyone has something meaningful to contribute. When church feels like home, we help make it home for someone else. Serving is a joy, not merely a position.

1 Peter 4:10 · Mark 10:45 · 1 Corinthians 12:4–7
7

We Live Sent

Following Jesus gives purpose to everyday life. We live intentionally, carry hope into dark places, and represent Christ at home, at work, in our community, and around the world.

Matthew 5:14–16 · Matthew 28:18–20 · 2 Corinthians 5:20
8

We Take Jesus Seriously, Not Ourselves

Joy and laughter belong in a healthy church family. Humor can lower walls, create connection, carry people through difficult seasons, and remind us that none of us has everything figured out.

We never use humor to embarrass, exclude, or wound. We laugh with people, not at them. We take God, His Word, and His mission seriously—while remaining humble enough to laugh at ourselves.

Proverbs 17:22 · Nehemiah 8:10 · Psalm 126:2
Hope. Faith. Family. Lives for Jesus.
These values are not slogans to display; they are commitments we want to practice together.
