I am afraid of public speaking

Venti Caramel Macchiato, Extra Hot... every time.

Have you ever had a favorite pet/animal and what was its name?
When I was a kid, I had a dog named Bow... I named him after a bow and arrow

If you could breed two animals to make a new species, what animals and what would you call it?
A dolphin and an octopus. A dolphtapus

What do you like most about Malone Assembly?
I love how welcoming and kind our church is. I feel like any person from any background would feel welcome here

Youth Directors - Kolbey Peek & Mike Bergmann

If you were at Starbucks right now, what would you order?
Kolbey: A blended white chocolate mocha with caramel.
Mike: I'd order a plain bagel toasted with extra cream cheese and a hot chocolate with four shots of peppermint that is topped off with whipped cream.

Favorite tv show?
Kolbey: Downtown Abbey.
Mike: My favorite ALL TIME t.v. shows would have to be "Cops" and "The Unit".

What is your favorite kind of food or meal?
Kolbey: Anything with bacon!
Mike: My favorite ALL TIME home cooked meal would be a big plate of meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, green beans, garlic bread and a tall Glass of milk....... so, Who's inviting me over for dinner????

What is your favorite word?
Kolbey: my favorite phrase is, "oh snap!"
Mike: My favorite ALL TIME word would have to be the word "Word".

What is one thing that is on your bucket list?
Kolbey: Going to Europe.
Mike: One of the things on my bucket list would have to be having children. I can't wait to teach my son how to play baseball and can't wait to walk my daughter down the aisle on her wedding day.

What is your favorite moment in recent times at Malone Assembly?
Kolbey: Putting Pastor Daniels head on various superheroes, like BATDAN.
Mike: I have two recent moments here at Malone Assembly that will forever be etched in my mind. The first one was seeing a young boy kneeling down at the altar praying because he just saw his daddy doing it earlier. My second would be watching two of my youth kids who learned playing an instrument in youth group play on the worship team in our main church services. Both of these really touched me.

What is your favorite word?
hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia: the fear of long words... and I'm glad I don't have it, cause it'd scare me.

If you could breed two animals to make a new species, what animals and what would you call it?
Well since God already has a sense of humor and already had fun making the beaver duck mix (platypus), I guess I'd breed hummingbird and bat. It shall be named "Humbat" and then I'd tattoo it on my arm, oh wait, I've done that already.

What is one thing that is on your bucket list?
Swim with and feed the sharks, but not with myself

Favorite band or musician?
Hmmm, hard one, I listen to A LOT. The most recents are... Johnny Cash, Tom Waits, Blind Willie Davis, Manchester Orchestra, Mumford and Sons, T.R.A.M., Flatfoot 56, Three Trapped Tigers, Red Letter, Gungor, Sufjan Stevens, Rend Collective Experiment, and The Local Natives.

What do you like most about Malone Assembly?
M.A. is full of real people that are all different, talented, and have big hearts. There is also a lot of freedom, growth, and opportunity

What do you like most about Malone Assembly?
I would have to say the people. They are there for you when you need them most. In hard times they continue to pray for you and help in any way possible. Encouraging and uplifting when you need it most. And I just want to say thank you to all who have prayed for me and my family over the last few years. You are greatly appreciated!

What is your proudest moment?
My proudest moment was when my husband Greg and I welcomed our precious daughter into the world on June 4th 2010

What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
Most people probably do not know that I had my own television show when I was in High School. It was title “Work World” and it was on the local Christian Cable Network.It was a weekly show where I interviewed different guests on what they did for a living. It was so much fun.People also probably do not know that now, I have a fear of public speaking.

If you were at Starbucks right now what would you order?
Iced Grande Decaf White Chocolate Americano, with a little room for cream. It’s so amazing!

Favorite book?
Right now, my favorite book is one that I read to my daughter almost every night called “Night, Night Blessings".

Have you ever had a favorite pet/animal and what was its name?
We have a black German Shepherd dog named Maddie who is the best dog that I have ever had

What is your favorite moment in the past 3 months at Malone Assembly?
A lot of pretty cool things have happened in the past 3 months at Malone Assembly but the one moment that really sticks out for me was the concert featuring Jonathan Thulin, Shine Bright Baby, and Loftland. I normally don’t like loud noises but thanks to the ear plugs I had a blast and consider it one of my highlights.

I can think of three - When each of my kids gave their heart to Jesus and made Him Lord of their life.

It suprises me the way God picks up the slack and brings things together when I'm so inadequate.
